Disappointed over Bike RackSep 20, 2010
By MurphyT We bought this bike rack to use with our pop up trailer and after 2 uses it cracked at all 4 corners. The rack comes with padding on the bottom bars that rest on the roof of the trailer but with the weight of 4 bikes in the rack it does leave indentations on the roof of the trailer. For the price of this rack it is not worth the money. It is cheaply made and doesn't last long. If you do end up purchasing this product, purchase directly from the company and not through Amazon so you can get a refund when the rack breaks!

Doesn't hold upSep 20, 2011
By live2 Purchased this item for my pop-up, loaded four bikes onto it and drove from NJ to Va, about 350 miles. When we got there I noticed the rack had developed cracks in the corners. For the return trip I added extra tie downs to the bikes to try to keep the rack stable. By the time we got home two of the corners had broken loose, one D-ring had been lost along the way, and the only thing keeping the bikes on the rack was the extra straps I added. Tried to contact the manufacturer for replacement parts (they are in Canada) but never recieved a response. One trip and I have junk

Works as advertisedSep 23, 2010
By M. Thullen I purchased this to put on top of our pop-up camper. The rack itself was easy enough to assemble, although I took the base hooks in to a RV shop for installation on our pop-up. While the rack seemed small and somewhat flimsy, it held four bikes easy enough, although I did have to let air out of the tires of one bike to get it to fit, as we have four mountain bikes and the spacing for the four bikes on the rack is a little tight. It was easy to secure the bikes, and outside of some preliminary re-tightening necessary at the beginning of our trip (due to a rough highway) the rack didn't move on a long trip up to Yosemite from Southern California.
Basically, the choices for carrying bikes with a pop-up are pretty limited. This rack solved the problem at a very good price.

Terrible ProductMay 09, 2011
By J. Musiak I bought one a few years ago. Looks exactly the same now. It is solid and very easy to install. The big problem is that it doesn't support the bikes properly. Every time you hit a bump or take a turn the bikes shift and bang into each other. If you have really cheap, beat up mountain bikes you might be OK, but it ruined our good quality bikes.
