Why 4 stars? The edges and joints are sharp. For weight plus utility, you cant beat this rack. I could have gone with a steel rack, but I am not using it for a spare tire or other heavy items other then a gas can, and the floor can be reinforced and another set of gutter mounts added if you need it. Assembly and mounting took about 2 1/2 hours and was straight forward. Tools needed was a cordless driver, philips and 5/16 bits plus a 5/16 crescent. I'll say I am not a big fan of big basket racks, but I needed something to carry my Hi-lift, 2+ backboards, salmon poles and a shovel. I wanted something they could do in rather then strapped too like the OEM luggage rack.
Make sure you get the right towers (in my case DMG-100's which are fantastic gutter mounts and well worth the cost) for your use.

Hard to get on but once it up there it is good for the trip. Carried all my luggage for two toddler (one is special needs so there was a lot) and two adults for 3 weeks worth.
